The third BFB Initiative, which started in February this year between the National Library of the Czech Republic and the Stiftelsen Arkivet, follows closely on the project Books discovered once again and on the first and second BFB initiatives. The main goal of the last Initiative is demonstration of the educational program during lecture tours in the Czech Republic nad in Norway. Members of the project team are going to visit a few educational institution and try to broaden awareness of the pupils, students and public with a new perspective on postwar events through the program and video.
In addition to lecture tours members of project team will attend the conference "Where are the libraries that were looted by the Nazis? Identification and restoration : a work in progress" in Paris. This event will participate in important work conducting research transfers of cultural objects within the wartime and post-war Europe and results of the project Books discovered once again and subsequent BFB's initiatives may open the door to further international cooperation.
At the conclusion of this cooperation will be organized a final internal seminar, which will evaluate the benefits of the project, results of presentations at schools and attempt to propose other activities, which can expand the usefulness of the outputs.
